About Pinaki
Pinaki Bose is an early-career scientist interested in using computational tools to examine biological problems.
Pinaki graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in December 2011 with a B.S. in Biochemistry with Honors and minors in Mathematics and Biology and again in May 2012 with a B.S. in Chemistry. His undergraduate thesis research focused on computational modeling of gallium-nitride nanocrystals.
Following graduation, Pinaki worked as a Postbaccalaureate Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, and then obtained an M.S. in Chemical Biology from the Chemistry-Biology Interface (CBI) Program at Johns Hopkins University.
In his free time, Pinaki likes to mentor young scientists, volunteer at medical clinics, and play the piano. He also enjoys designing websites and is an avid coder.
